Need Some Inspiration?

We all lose it sometimes - our mojo, that is.   One of the best ways to get back into the groove is to surf the internet for inspiration.  Well, we've got that for you today.  I found some awesome layouts in our gallery created by our Design Team and this month's Guest Designer.  Hope you find something here that inspires you!

Meet our October Guest Designer - Keren Tamir

Hi everyone!   Keren Tamir is no stranger to C'est Magnifique and we are thrilled to have her as our guest designer for October.  She has created some beautiful layouts using the October Kit, "Last Kiss of Summer".  Now I'd like to turn it over to Keren who will tell you a little about herself, and show you a few layouts she has created for C'est Magnifique.

My name is Keren Tamir and I'm 38 years old. I am a wife to a wonderful husband who is very supportive of my scrapbooking hobby and a mother of two amazing kids; a 10 year old boy and a 5 years old girl. I've been scrapbooking for 9 years and I mainly scrapbook about my family. I love to create and experiment with many different mediums and techniques.

My style changes according to my mood. I love Shabby chic and I use flowers and doilies, I also love grungy misting and painting.  My style is always evolving and that’s one of the things I love about this art.

One of the main reasons why I started scrapbooking was to preserve memories and photos for my children and grandchildren. However in this past year, I’ve started to enjoy another aspect of scrapbooking. I love the artistic outlet that it gives me. It has become an obsession, a healthy addiction which helps me relax in life. I love it so much and I hope to scrapbook for many years to come!!

I’m thrilled to be a guest designer this month at Ces’t Magnifique. I’ve been subscribing to their kits for the past year and it’s an honor to join it this month with their amazing group of designers.

Hope you enjoy my creations this month!!

"Lovable"
I love this picture of my daughter lying like that. I used lots of cut-out roses to give this layout a girly feel!!

"Believe"
I wanted this layout to have a purplish feel. I sprayed the background with purple ink and let it drip down the page. I sprayed the white beehive blossoms in black and then I added some orange tones to balance the page. I painted the title in the copper paint and I highlighted the flowers in the background with an orange pen.

Our October Kit "Last Kiss of Summer"

We are excited to reveal our October Kit, "Last Kiss of Summer".  This kit contains paper from an Australian manufacturer - Ruby Rock-it.  Inside the kit you will  find items from Shimmerz, Prima, ScrapFX, Fabscraps, Manor House, and others.
What a great assortment of embellishments!

Take a closer look:

We'll wrap up today by showing you how Leslie, the owner of C'est Magnifique Kits, used the October kit.  We have a few kits available in the Store

"Wish" by Leslie Kammerdiener
This is my DD who wanted a family for so many years.
I titled it "Wish" because she really did wish for so long.
